Lost Panel by Tostie14 (Kevin Tostado) via Flickr - CC

This is a page for various “orphan” or “lost” posts or pages, as indicated by Web links (URLs) that come up in Google Webmaster Tools under the heading of pages not found.

My apologies if you have been looking for something and have been unable to find it. I hate that when it happens to me.

For a number of posts or pages listed by Google as “pages not found” or “404s”, I have been able to sort out the problem and placed a re-direction link on the site.

Some have proved resistant to the re-direction process: it is those “resistant” ones that have been given space on this page.

For each page or post listed here I have done a serious search and have not been able to track them down, even by using that wonderful resource, The Wayback Machine at www.archive.org.

If you have come here looking for something in particular, please let me know via the Contact page and I will get back to you promptly to see if there is some help I can provide.

Here are the ones I know about.

This badly formed link should be to my Google Plus profile.

This is a partial mystery. It is from September 2005, which is when deswalsh.com went from being a static website to a blog format. I’m not optimistic about finding the original, so if you have a question relating to the topic, please contact me and I will respond promptly.

This one is a mystery. I don’t know what my database challenge was in April 2008 and don’t know what has become of the post.

There are a few others that seem to have just disappeared. If that includes one you were keen to see, my apologies: sometimes the system is bigger than us!
