A Feather in the Cap for WordFrame
WEB 2.0 STRATEGIES describes itself as the UK’s leading forum for exploring real-world implementations of web 2.0 and enterprise 2.0 tools and techniques. Given that social computing expert (a real expert, as in walked the walk as well as talked the talk) Euan Semple was Conference Chairman, I’ll take their word for the self-assessment.
So as a WordFrame partner I was delighted to learn that the conference recognised the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales (ICAEW) IT Counts community as “The Best New Web 2.0 Initiative”.
As David Terrar reports on the WordFrame blog, IT Counts is part of the ICAEW online network (ion), a new collection of web communities, powered by WordFrame, and available free of charge to ICAEW members.
